The Fitness Blastoff is an exciting dance fitness party which brings together a lively mix of cool club-like routines from Hip-Hop to Dancehall and Afrobeats. There is a lot to enjoy about this unique event, especially if you love dancing and having a good time. Learn new moves You will leave the Fitness Blastoff having learned a few new moves you can take next time you hit the dancefloor! Even if you are not a dancer, attending the Fitness Blastoff and taking part in the workouts will give you an element of confidence and coolness when it comes to moving to Hip-Hop, Afrobeats and Dancehall.
Keeping it simple! The workout is so much fun when you can actually do it with ease and that's why we provide simple and easy to follow choreography. You do not need to be a regular dancer or worry about not being able to keep up with the routine - all you need is to ensure you have a good time. If you miss a step - who cares? Not me, because I might even miss a step too and I'm an instructor 🙂
Party atmosphere With the lights down low, spotlights flickering it's way across the room, the music cranked up and lively ladies getting down to the DJ's latest party mix - you will feel like you are at a party. Partying whilst you exercise, will make your workout more enjoyable.
Meet new people We have people from all walks of life attending the Fitness Blastoff from Personal Trainers and Exercise Instructors to Students and Young Professionals so you are bound to network and meet new people and make new friends.
Mixing it up Things always seem interesting when there is more on offer and at the Fitness Blastoff we give you a variety of lively workouts to try out. There are six dance fitness routines altogether including Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Jungle, House, Soca and Afrobeats. Not only do we mix up the workouts but we mix up the music and the instructors do - so there should hopefully be something for everybody who attends.
Short but sweet Each routine lasts for 25-mins - giving you a taster of each workout and keeping your interest levels high and your motivation level up.
Group exercise Exercising in a group setting is social, friendly and more exciting than exercising alone! Plus you will feel motivated to do more and to push yourself to go that extra mile and dance that extra dance.
